This course is designed for construction site managers working in the construction sector who are progressing into managing larger and more complex construction projects.
You will develop the skills and knowledge to plan and programme projects and oversee large construction projects safely and efficiently.
You'll be taught in the classroom by industry-experienced professionals from the Construction Management industry.
This course includes student membership of the Chartered Institute of Building.
The Programme is delivered over two years with the first year being the CIOB Certificate in Site Management. You will then progress to the second year, the Level 4 Diploma, where you will:
- Broaden your knowledge and skills to plan and programme projects
- Manage quality control on construction sites
- Develop your liaison skills with stakeholders as you oversee large or complex construction projects
- Manage legislative requirements for health, safety, and welfare practice within a construction site
You will be continuously assessed throughout your studies. This includes written assignments, report writing and presentations.
To be eligible to join this course you must have successfully completed the CIOB Certificate in Site Management Level 4.
On successful completion of this course you will be awarded the CIOB Level 4 Diploma in Site Management. If you choose to take your studies further you'll be able to progress to the CIOB Level 6 Chartered Management Programme (MCIOB).
You'll have developed your skills, knowledge and understanding of site management by the end of this course, which could support you towards promotion to more senior management roles in the construction industry.
