Young people can explore their creative side with the National Saturday Club at BDC

Participants, aged 13-16 years, will be able to join clubs in art and design, film and media. They can discover the subjects they enjoy, learn new skills and talents, develop interests and potential career aspirations. Starting this month, the free courses are a great way for young people to get creative and make new friends with common interests.

As part of the Film & Media Saturday Club, members will have the opportunity to create and edit a short film and soundtrack. Whilst in the Art & Design Saturday Club, members will get the chance to explore everything from drawing, painting and printmaking to darkroom photography.

The Saturday Club is a fantastic introduction to the creative industries.  This is the chance to explore, to experiment and to be part of something exciting and to see where a creative career could take you. We’re very much looking forward to seeing what our club members produce
